Well i tried bidvister and all that. I left them up for a day or two then relized that i wasnt' getting paid. I know i was getting clicks because i had tidruG click for me. I also know that Animal is having the same problem.
So dont' waste your time with bidvister. Adsense or some other type of ads is a better choice.
Are the ads on the website you assigned the ads to? If not, then they won't work. They do work, I've been paid about $400 by them already.
As Blaster said, I've had some major problems with Bidvertiser. I signed up over a month ago and got 8 clicks in 3 days... not bad going. But from then until today, no clicks whatsoever registered on my site despite having ~60 + impressions every day. I emailed them a few times about it and was told that there was nothing wrong with the ads and that only "valid clicks" were counted. However, I refuse to believe that absolutely no valid clicks occurred on my site in a month.
I then went onto my site one day and found that the ads weren't loading at all - emailed Bidvertiser again and apparently it "must be a connection problem between (my) computer and (Bidvertiser's) servers". They tested my account again and there was nothing wrong apparently.
I know for a fact that there were people clicking the ads, and I didn't ever click the ads myself (before I'm accused of having violated terms of service... fraudulent clicks etc). Basically, my experience is that Bidvertiser is a total waste of time. Sure, it's great that they pay with PayPal. And sure, it's great that they pay you every $10 that you make. But they certainly don't give you credit for all the clicks made on your account.
Another irritating thing about Bidvertiser is that the ads aren't targeted. I run a security and privacy website and I had to manually remove adverts to companies who offered to "spy" on anyone you want, and companies that offered software that "removed all traces of porn from your computer". No thanks!
After yet another unsatisfactory response from them, I removed the ad code from my site today and emailed Bidvertiser telling them to remove my account. I do not recommend them to anyone.
Yea so i know i'm not the only one to have this problem. I didn't even bother emailing them. But i've had better luck with www.adbright.com and www.adsense.com
Also on a side note its nice to see that you got adsense on your site now animal.
Adsense.com finally sold the domain to google?

Thanks for sharing this, i also heard that many people said negative feedback of bidvertiser.
I think better using adsense, adbrite, clicksor and commission junction.
I been looking into tbidvertiser but I think after hearing this thread I don't think I shall
Does anyone know what they meant by 'valid clicks'?
Would it be if its from a unique IP address or some one that clicks to the site and stays there for 20 secs on more?

Bidvertiser's Terms of Use state the following:

Notwithstanding the foregoing, BidVertiser shall not be liable for any payment based on:
Any fraudulent impressions generated by any person, bot, automated program or similar device or for fraudulent clicks similarly generated on any ads, as reasonably determined by BidVertiser;
Ads delivered to end users whose browsers are unable to see and/or hear the Ads properly displayed;
Ads benefiting charitable organizations and other placeholder or transparent Ads that BidVertiser may deliver in the event that a site is improperly configured to comply with BidVertiser’ technical requirements;
BidVertiser’ advertisements for its own products and/or services;
Impressions co-mingled with a significant number of fraudulent impressions or fraudulent clicks described above, or as a result of other breach of this Agreement by You for any applicable pay period;
All clicks on a site where users are asked, directly or indirectly, to click on Ads, encouraged, directly or indirectly, to click on Ads, or compensated, directly or indirectly, for clicking on Ads; or Any other activity that BidVertiser determines, in its sole discretion, to be fraudulent. In order to determine fraudulent use, BidVertiser will consider the content of your site, your marketing tactics, or any other information that BidVertiser deems appropriate, based upon our opinion or mere suspicion or belief, without any duty to prove that our opinion or suspicion is well-founded. |
However, in my experience Bidvertiser don't count very many of the clicks on your site as "valid clicks". Take my advice, and stay clear of Bidvertiser.
I have the same problem
I know i got clicks as i clicked it once at school and when i got home it didn't show up.
But the frist click i did get was like for $0.76. then it all went down hill getting $0.05 per click!
