Mines not very good but I'm interested in a lot of your work. I only really do terrains Confused but I'm really interested in your work after seeing a lot of 3d related threads in this section...

Anyway I'll start:

This is TerraGen right?
If so. One of mine (I just can't find them anymore) is similar to the second link. But the mountain to the right of your first image is much more detailed of any of my objects. How did you made this?

If it's not terragen but Povray or something else: Never mind^^. Good work.

This thread isn't Terragen orientated, it can be using any software but yes I did use it. All I can say with Terragen is even though it's more of a generate terrain then render attitude it takes a lot of tweaking to get the results you want... I think that's where the skill comes in. I spent a good 4 hours on both of those, tweaking very specific settings to make it look as realistic as possible. Just spend a lot of time re-rendering and getting the results you want, that's what I can suggest.

My Groundhog Hosted at my old site (hasn't been transfered over yet). Its the best rendered 3d thing I've made so far. I made it using blender 3d.

When I originally saw the pictures I was thinking to myself "This has to have been made in Bryce" but the artist actually mentioned in his second post that he used Terragen.

I want to get back into 3d now!

I download that terragen once and I almost did this tutorial, but it was a little complicated and I was busy with Photoshop. I might give this anothe shot some time.

WHOLY CRAP!!! You people are awsome! I hope i learn how to do this sort of thing in college. I can only made basic 2d images and they're not very good. I know how to make 3d heads and stuff from art class, but not on a computer.

The landscape stuff is amazing. I really like the clouds in both, and the water in the one. It all just looks so incredibly realistic. That's amazing it really is. The one with water is my favorite ^_^ but i like the sky in the other one.
