2 harddrives to 1

Hey,
I used to have norton ghost on my computer and now i uninstalled it. It has left me with a second harddrive called backup(D) and it is 40 GB and I have Local Drive (C) which is 120 GB. Both are NTFS. I want to know can I turn the two harddrives into one big one? I have formatted the backup(D) one.

I'm assuming that you mean you have two partitions on one drive, so use something like partition magic to merge the two. If you have a server version of windows, there are other ways.

What do you mean by a server version? I have windows xp pro.

You don't have a server version; I was referring to NT server, 2000 server, or 2003 server editions.
