This free domain and web hosting looks for real.

Looks like they will give a basic service for free, hoping you'll upgrade in the future. Kinda like they do with hotmail.

No php etc.., but you gurus can embed your frihost pages. Right?

Let me know if this helps anyone, I haven't signed up yet.

I haven't been able to do anything but link from it. I can't embed anything, can't do any re-directs. Nuthin.

You also can't migrate an existing page(s) there. Can't even edit html.

At least I got my email addy that I wanted. Rolling Eyes

Free domain and 500mb sounds pretty good, but it doesnt sound like they have many features.

I won't be going there since they don't support PHP.

They will be giving free domains.......... Microsoft became ICANN Accredited Registrar lately.

Because it's like every "free" hoster, that have additional features like topleveldomain. At first it's free and then after a year or so they'll ask you to pay for the next year. And there's a point somewhere in the TOS, that you cant't quit the contract.
