Perhaps, freedns.afraid.org is the best free dns subdomain provider with a very very long list of subdomains to choose from. includes subdomains like "uk.to" "us.to" or "biz.tm" etc.

Yes I have used them ( uni.cc ) their services are very good and you can have your DNS changed. but the point is that they require you to put they ad on the first page of your website.
I have also used ( dhs.org ) but they cut their free service and asked for money
I have a few yi.org subdomain with dns,but I have registered a top domain http://wanglb.net last month.if you want to really set a site,please register a domain.
