Pop Out Sigs
Those look nice... I've been meaning to get back into Photoshop again, I used to use it all the time and had some nifty tricks up my sleeve... Use it or lose it I reckon.
Those are easy to make, it's just that most people seem to think that sig images HAVE to be jpg or gif. Noone thinks of making a png, which supports transparency 
not properly on internet explorer, it's a piece of s**t
May I suggest Opera or Firefox?
But even then, a vast majority of users still use IE (by choice or not)... therefor your images will not display properly to the majority of the people who view them.

And if you want to use gif and transparency, it's gonna have to be a picture with flat colours (not a real world photograph) unless you want bad quality

ie IS crap, the problem is that windows needs ie to actually function, since the windows explorer and ie is integrated into each other, so the natural choice for everyone using windows is ie. I use windows, but I only use ie if something doesn't work in Opera for some stupid reason.

As for the pop-out sigs, anyone with half-decent Photoshop/Gimp skills could do that, and it really doesn't look that good...

you're arguing with yourself, mate.
A render is the picture in the sig, as in the guy, what I was saying was that making the render come out of the sig does not look good, they should stay within the line.

Cool GJ bud. But i notice it has some white pxls around the part that pops out over the transparent bg, this is why i use .png. You can really notice it on colored forums.
OHHHH.... I LOVE pop outs, want to make them my self but I don't seeme to find any picture that I can use, I have to think about copyright and all that stuff, but maybe not if I just have them for myself.... I'll see what I can do later on.

Ummm... I'm using IE7 and it works fine, furthermore transparency also worked when I used IE6. I've never had any problems with IE, and I have when I tried FF so I'm sticking with it.
