Is there WHOIS protection? Will it be registered in your friend's name? If so, would we have any signed document from him/her saying that we would have legal rights over the domain once it expires? Or would your friend try to sell it to us after the year?
Hmm, I'd offer 400FRIH$, but only if you're able to offer a .net/.com domain. I have no need for a .info domain.
