Where is the cheapest place to get electronics and electric componants in the UK?

Farnell and maplins seem to have run the competition out of all towns, it always used to be Tandy, but they went a few years ago, why not try your hand at eBay? You can get a lot of components shipped direct from China and Taiwan fairly cheap.

There is a company called CPC, they carry almost everything.
