.org domain just vanished!

I had a .org domain for my website .. but last week it just vanished!
Dunno why.. but is there any chance i'd have back.. or make a new one!

I heared something about Idian citizens who can get it for free, is that true ?

A domain "just vanished" ? Shocked
Can you still access/manage it at your domain registrar's ?
Does its NS entry still point to the server that is supposed to be hosting it ?
Does the server still actually host it ?

yeh, maybe the configuration for it are messed up, and i dont think Idian citizens can get it for free, if its true, y only indians??

i have never come across a domain just vanishing..

are you sure it wasnt parked or something similar?

yeah, if its one of those free ones you get off sites that u fill out servuyes, then they might of canceld it, beacuse some of them they only give you one year free and then you have to pay for it.
