How do you say hello?

Digital Thoth
So, you're new to a board or forum, and you just don't know how to say hello. You could tell everyone random, boring facts about yourself. No one really cares, or if they did they could find that out about you by reading a couple of your topics.

Hey, you could always just say 'Hi' and see what happens.

So. Hi!

I will typically read thru a few introductions, then read a few posts, then make some sort of statement that jives along with the rest of them. Or, if it's Friday or Saturday and I've been drunk-posting, I'll just put up some gobble-de-gook that may or may not be related.

Anyway, interesting way of saying hi you have.

HI! Very Happy

I thought this was a "how do you say hello in your langauge thread", so here's a useful list:
"Hello" in more than 775 languages from around the world.

The facts may be boring to you (‘cos you know them already) but its quite interesting to read what other people have to say about themselves – probably why the ‘about me’ page on a personal website is the most visited page there, unless of course they have a page entitled, ‘Pictures of My Hot Sisters’

What seems boring to you might just be of interest to someone else –see, I replied to your post so it must have interested me. Very Happy

I was going for catchy, interesting, appealling.. interesting might work, too. I guess writing an autobiography as my first post just doesn't flow with my fortee. But, I guess interests do vary. So, small run down.
