heavy cronjob killed by admin?

hexkid
I have a cronjob which started getting heavier as more and more users started using it. I realize it's against the rules to have heavy cronjobs and will move most of the network traffic and processing to my local machine.

Anyway, the cronjob started at the expected time but apparently hasn't ended: I haven't received the final e-mail it sends when its done and the file it creates at the beginning is still there though it should have been deleted.

Can I get a confirmation that an admin killed the cronjob, or maybe that it is stuck in a loop?

I didn't remove any cronjobs for a very long time.

Thank you Bondings.

Is it ok to assume the cronjob hasn't been stuck in a loop for the last 5 hours?
That it has ended abruptly for some unknown reason?

The cronjob was called with
Code:
/usr/local/bin/php -q /home/hexkid/domains/XXXX...XXXX/cronjob.php
