Lets Talk about the real National Basketball Association here guys.
To start things up. Who do you think among all the Teams in the NBA has the biggest chance to win the Championship this season? And who are your teams?
I think for me Cleveland has the chance with Lebrons stats coming up now and his domination on the game is much powerful and much better plus his teammates are getting involved. I think they got a good shot on Leading Cleveland to the Finals and aswell to the Championship...

Favorite team : Dallas Mavericks
Most favorite player : LB James
I like other players, especially Wade and CP Chris Paul.
I also play fantasy basketball on Yahoo, its my second season and a load of fun
As much as I hate to say it, I think San Antonio has a good chance at winning the championship (what else is new). Utah is hot right now, but I wonder if they can keep it up.
I am a little surprised by Chicago's poor start. I did not think they would be leading their division like many others did, but I thought they would at least be above 500.
Yeah. San Antonio will be there for sure.. but not that sure coz I think Clippers Lakers and the Suns will have a Run this season. The Bulls really need a Solid Superstar who can they can count on clutch situation. Or maybe Hinrich and Gordon must step up this might be the best chance for that.
My favorites are - Los Angeles Lakers.
I'm still fan of tham from that old times (when Shaq, Bryant,Payton) and all the good one played together.
Now, we stayed only with Koby, but he does his best for the team.
my favourite team is LA Lakers.
BTW- the jazz lead the league with 12:1 ... Boozer right now is one of the best forword in tha NBA, he grabbed not less than 13 rb per game!!
And the sophmore, Deron William show his skills by amazing games. today he scores 15 pt but passes 10 assists!
Ohh.. we have a Laker fan over here.. thats nice! Yeah Deron will be one of the Franchise players of the Jazz hopefully, I hope that Utah wont trade him anyomore as what happened to other PG's of Utah like Keith Mcloed? hehe.. Deron is one of the next Playmaker whiz like John Stockton. Andre Kirilenko must stay healthy and Boozer must be healthy all through out they will be very promising lots of potential.
Guys how bout the Milwaukee Bucks Michael Redd other announcer's called him the "SCORING MACHINE". Do you like Michael Redd?
Yeah! he is a scoring machine, thats for sure!
Anyways dor_segal are you interested on joining a Fantasy NBA Live League?
Michael Redd is one of the best shooters along with Ray Allen in the league.
Yeah I have Boozer on two of my teams and he has been just amazing. Now if only he could add some blocks
Yeah.. Ray Allen is one tough Shooter.. but now the factor coming on the NBA is Ray Allen getting old thats why his not shooting that good compare when his still in Milwaukee and his first 2Years with Seattle.. and in fantasy Leagues his not that good anymore taking the fact of his expensive contract.
Favourite teams: Detroit Pistons and Phoenix Suns.
Favourite players: alltime - Wilt Chamberlain and "Magic" Johnson, present - Steve Nash and Kevin Garnett.
Detroit and Phoenix are both going good now. They had good start this season.
Miami - last year champions - are showing their bad side now. They're terrible!
Yeah Miami has a bad start without Shaq, Wade definitely is Tired after the Summer Stint with the World Championship and his activities around the world. I also love Detroit but Im still annoyed why they release Ben Wallace??
I heard on some news that the Memphis Grizzlies are looking to trade Pau Gasol.. what do you think of this? Maybe KG?
memphis is at the bottom right now, the season is young but paul gasol might not return in time to save their ass...their management might be thinking of options that will help them to reach .500...their leading scorer is Atkins, so that means they really need a good scorer desperately....
Trade Gasol would be very short sighted. He is a bonafide, rock solid player, just his bad luck that he suffered a foot injury.
He will be back, and they have some classy players to go with him now, namely Rudy Gay and Hakim Warrick. Hakim has been on a tear, nice to see him finally show what he's got
Yeah.. Hakkim is now making a name for his own. I tought at first Hakkim is just like Stro who has the Leaping ability only but now he improved a lot most especially on his Offensive game. I cant wait to see Pau Gasol at the Center spot Warrick at Power forward and Rudy Gay at Small Forward maybe a good decent Point guard will be good enough for the Grizzlies add Mike Miller also they are a good team but without Gasol who acts as the Barometer of the team uhmm.. I think someone should step up like what Rudy Gay and Hakkim Warrick did and I want to see Mike Miller produce more points.
Fizzo is right. A good PG combined with Miller in the back court, and Gay, Warrick and Gasol in the front court will be great.
That Southwest Division is the strongest division in the NBA, so the matchups are always going to be tough.
Yeah! who will it be? maybe a Kirk Hinrich or a Deron Williams who will dish the ball to Pau Gay and Hakkim... Did you saw Chicagos game against New Orleans Andre Nocioni scored 31 points career high wow hes really showing his own stuff..

Kevin Garnett will never leave Minnesotta Timberwolves, only for trade of 10000000000 bucks or Koby Bryant or Dwayne Wade or LeBron James=)))
Don't you understand? And even Paul Gasol can't replace Kevin!
There are Rumors that KG will be leaving Minny. Huh..
Rumors, rumors, they are always around.
Who all saw the Suns vs Nets game? Totally awesome game, man, Nash and Kidd were going at each other like crazy
I missed the NJ game. I opened the channel the game was on right before the game started and said that this is going to be a great game but didn't watch the game.
I shoulda watched it
My favorite team: Indiana Pacers.
Because I like Reggie Miller's game in the 90's, he was just great. But unfortunately, he was at the age of Jordan.
Pity.
Nice to have you guys in here. Anyways did you got the news from Philly that Allen Iverson wants to get out of Phily.
The Allen Iverson Period in Philadelphia is rapidly dragging to an undignified conclusion. According to two agents whose clients play for the 76ers, Iverson went to team president Billy King this past Tuesday and demanded to be traded, something he professed repeatedly over the years he'd never do. New York Post
According to two general managers King contacted yesterday, the 76ers are aggressively attempting to accommodate their forlorn franchise player, whose prohibitive salary (currently $17.1 million with $19M and $20.8M remaining) makes him a difficult sell despite a 31-point average - at least if the Sixers hope to harvest relatively equal value. New York Post
- From Hoopshype.
I also heard rumors that his trading to Minnesota without trading Kevin Garnett in return, but would you imagine Kevin Garnett and Allen Iverson on the same team. This might be Kevins chance to win a Ring.
Yeah, thats what I heard when I watched the Sixers-Wizards match, that AI asked to be traded to the Timberwolves. In fact the deal was in the works from a lil while back apparently.
AI and KG. The Answer and The Ticket, wow !!!
The Timberwolves will have to pay through their noses on this one though, will be interesting to watch what happens
This will be exciting i hope that will come.. AI and KG on one team Kg can win a ring now... Yeah your right lots of money will be needed on this 2 players having 17+Million salaries that is no joke! hehe..
Looks like Miami might be interested in the Answer as well. Pat Riley said he would definitely look to bring AI to the Heat
Yeah.. theres a lot of teams interested with Allen Iverson Denver is another team looking to grab Allen Iverson but the Philladelphia 76ers is looking for a player or players that can match Allen Iverson's whooping salary.
Kevin Garnett and the TWolves are much more interested with AI as they ay marketing Randy Foye and 2 more guys just to make the salary work. Im routing AI to go with the Twolves as it will fun to see KG and AI on the same team KG will have the chance to win a Championship.
If Minnesota will grab Allen Iverson and will not sell Kevin Garnett they will be cool team - Garnett as power forward and Iverson as small forward and threepointers realizer. So Minnesota has good motivations to buy Allen.
Allen might be playing the Shooting guard and maybe Troy Hudson or Jaric will move up on the Starting Point Guard. Kg will be play Power forward and Griffin at Center. I think Ricky Davis also will be included on the deal.. but I hope they wont..
Allen Iverson has officially been traded from the Denver Nuggets in exchange with Joe Smith and Andre Miller plus two Rookie Picks.. But we will not see the Allen Iverson Carmelo Anthony Duo for the meantime as Carmelo is suspended because of the fight fist that happened on New York.
Woo-hoo... Philadelphia did uncorrect exchange... Stupid fools... And why they decided to exchange Iverson away?
Well 76ers are going into rebuild mode. Its been a temptous 10 years with AI.
They havent made the playoffs for a few years now and that is obviously something that cant be forgiven by fans and management alike. I would expect to see Webber leaving soon as well, and they building the team around Iguodala and Miller.
Man, its the end of an era, Iverson in a Sixers uniform.
I wonder how the Carmelo - Iverson thing will work out. Carmelo had been on a hot streak before his suspension, and there are going to be ball hogging issues once they get together. Who gets the ball?
Remember what Allen Iverson told on a DVD release video I have a copy here at my home.. as he said that he will start his career as a Sixers and ends with the Sixers.. but now it seems its like a bubble burst.. Yeah its a "rebuilding" process for the Philadelphia 76ers Iguodala must wake up and look that his incharge of this Sixers team, Webber wont be the Leader his old and soon will retire he can be a supporting cast.. And I hope those Picks will be a good one.. or maybe a Draft Rights to Greg Oden..

I wonder how Iverson and 'Melo will coexist. They are both good players, but they both like to jack up their shots. Should be interesting, they have the potential to turn Denver into a very good team.

Currently I am watching out for the Philadelphia 76ers. With Ben Wallace, they can spring up some surprises.
My favorite all-time teams are
New York: with Frazier and Monroe
Milwaukee: with Alcindor (a.k.a Kareem Abdul Jabbar) and Lucius Allen
L.A. : with Jabbar and Magic
Philadelphia: with the Doctor
New York Knickerbockers is one of my favorite teams back then..
well iverson is getting of the team... hehe.. now we stil have to see how melo, smoth, kmart and camby play together? this might happen by mid jan to feb after the suspension... can't wait
on philly side andre miller should demand to be traded if he wants to compete for nba chmpionship... i'm not saying it is a bad team it just that they don't have that much player anymore.. I think webbers wants to be traded too. and the team is full of rookies.
i can't wait to see if artest and maggette trade will pursue,
I was suprised when AI went to the Denver Nuggets. Well my favorite team are the Lakers. I liked it when AI was with the 76ers but it was his choice and I respect that choice.
I pick the Spurs again this year. A lot of teams have made major changes in their lineup this year. The Spurs did some minor changes; that means the cohesiveness of the team is still there.

I saw the game against the Lakers a few days ago and I think you may be right in thinking that the new Sixers have a future. But a championship? Not this year. Maybe two years from now.
My favorite all-time teams are
Utah: Stockton and Malone (no championships but those tiffs with the Jordan-led Bulls was outstanding)
Chicago: Jordan-Pippen
Lakers: Chamberlain-West
Lakers; Jabbar-Magic

I saw Iverson playing just a moment ago with the Nuggets. Too bad Carmelo wasn't there. But the other Nuggets blended well with AI, I think. AI may end up like Malone: great but without a championship.
i feel sorry for malone, in the top 5 best nba player but never got a ring...i just wished he never joined the lakers coz some fans felt unhappy on that decision. btw iverson as being the veteran of the two should step down and do a supporting role to melo.
So far im with the cavs ^^ they can be eastern conference champs if their bench really stand up...

Great teams. Mine are
Boston: Havlicek and White and Cowens
Boston: with Larry Bird
Houston: with Calvin Murphy
Lakers: Jabbar and Johnson

The same can be said of Ray Allen. If Shaq hadn't played with the Lakers, Kobe won't have a ring too.
I heard that Ron Artest is again on the block.. theres rumors that Artest will be traded on the Clippers in exchange with Corey Maggette
Man, except for one who mentions the teams of Havlicek and Bird, there seems to be no one else talking of the Celtics nowadays. Are they really that bad? I have been waiting for a game featuring the Celtics here, but I haven't seen any: either I missed the scheduled game, or our TV operators have chosen to feature only the teams that are really "watchable".
What do you think. Do the Celtics have any luck of improving this year?

You are probably right there. Thing is, in the Lakers' tradition, championships were won because of the big men: Chamberlain, Kareem, Shaq. No matter how good the smaller men were, like West, there always had to be the big man to get a championship. The only exception was the case of Magic Johnson who gave the Lakers a championship when the team didn't have Kareem due to injury. Kobe Bryant plays well, but I don't think he can ever be like Jordan who has shown that he can carry a whole team on his shoulders going into the championship.

Are they really that bad?
Well Pierce is the only go to guy in there, the rest are all kids. Its a young team, but not a winning team
Quote:
championships were won because of the big men
Its the same through history, the only exception being the Bulls with Jordan. Look at the last few winners
Heat (Shaq)
Spurs (Duncan)
Pistons (The Wallaces)
The Heat have a losing record without Shaq in the lineup, it was only when Rasheed came to Detroit that the Pistons became the best team in the league back then, and then well.. the Spurs wont be the Spurs without Duncan and Robinson before him
So yeah, big men are the key to defense and rings
Hey guys my Favorite player Agent Zero Gilbert Arenas is having an awesome Season. From Zero to Hero Gilbert Arenas prove something for all the haters Arenas all the way. Hope to see the Wizards on the playoffs with the Big 3.
Corey Maggette might Land to the Utah Jazz. There are rumors that the Veteran Small Forward Corey "Maggs" Maggette will be leaving the Clippers soon and on the Trade block. And another news is Webber might land to the Pistons.
I live in Sweden so when i came to the big US i was stunnend, then we went on a basketball game, and i really liked it, i play basketball myself so this was really great.
I think it was nets vs ?...
Iniana traded their top 4 players (without Jermain) for 4 poor players.
i dont believe they made this trade... they could trade other players that absolutely better than Murphy and the others
Hmmm.. I think Troy Murphy is better he was just bothered with injuries this season thats why his not that too consistent with his game. But their are some rumors that Jermaine O'neal wants to be traded out of Indiana? Their were issues also but not true that Dunleavy will be traded for Maggette but Indiana management denies it as that is not included on their plans.
Chris Webber back at his home town. Webber wears no. 84 on his Jersey coz Joe Dumars owns the no. 4.

Inidiana without Jermaine is not a team.
anyway, Murphy good player, and also Dunleavy. But I sure that Indiana could found 4 better players.
Bird must release the coach if he want to save the team. It's scandal what that happen in the management.
Well I have Troy Murphy on my fantasy team, and before the trade he was stinking up my performance. Now he is back to his 10/10 with a 3 for good measure ways !!!
Trade wise, well both teams basically sold out. GSW got Stephen Jackson, the man with the loose mouth and the loose gun
But Indiana has 2 monster contracts now in the form of Murphy and Dunleavy. Geeesh
Check this out my nba live team lineup
Marcus Camby
Dwight Howard
Andre Iguodala
Larry Hughes
Gilbert Arenas
Mehmet Okur
Chris Duhon
Dorell Wright
Brian Cook
Jared Jeffries
Quinton Ross
Trenton Hassell
