Hey Everyone!

Hi, I'm new to to Frihost, looking at getting my 10 points so I can get my hosting account. Just wanted to clarify a few things, is it true that once I have my hosting account, 1 point per day is taken off me? And is it easy to use a domain name that I own (such as http://www.example.com) and connect it to my hosting account? One other thing, I can host a website that is probably going to make a profit (such as a web design service), can't I? Thanks.

Yes, that's correct.

You can do it; it's not hard at all.

Yes, but since hosting account are not suspended until they are well into negative points (and even then, it's not done automatically), that means you can go for quite a while without posting. Of course, we encourage our users to post as much as possible (without copying/pasting nor resorting to lots of one-liners) in order keep FriHost from devolving into what you will find on most other websites that require more posts. Even so, it is not necessary every day.

Just point your domain name to our DNS then set up the DirectAdmin side of things and you're done (with the usual propagation delays, of course).

Absolutely, as long as you don't use any paid software to do so. However, even if you want to use an online shopping cart, good, free software is available.
