First of all I'd like to warn you that this idea is still in its very early stages.
I have seen many spam related problems and annoyances in these forums and this is my best shot at an all round solution. Please hear me out.
An ignorance button on every forum and thread.
Quite simply, I can either mark this forum/thread as read OR I can ignore it. Quite simply, I will no longer see that thread/forum and I will not in any way be notified of new posts in it.
I see a topic in general chat which i feel to be very spammy, I just press IGNORE and I don't need to worry about it any more, I'm never going to see it again!
I don't speak or wish to learn turkish (no offence meant) IGNORE and I need not know.
I know it seems very crude and unless there is already a mod existing I doubt that it would be very easy to implement, but that's my idea, it's the best I've got.
