Is It necessary to have a database,if we place a enquiry form in our site?

They have provided me a database for managing the queries,but i dnt no how to work on it..Can anyone help me on it?I think its related to SQL server,am not sure...and how will i b able to place a form using the databse that they have provided?

The question what do you need? Create a form with MySQL support, or just a form? Or you aren't sure and just want to know the differences?

If you are trying to make some sort of a help thing it would be a lot easier to use a database. You could allow users to search for help and then the script could return the information that has the words that they searched for.

It seems logical to use a database if this is what you are looking for.

If your form is going to use SQL queries, then you need a MySQL database to query! Simple as that.
