Liverpool

After the 0:3 lost to Arsenal last week, Liverpool has now the worst away record ever. I'm personally very disappointed with the Reds' performance. Liverpool did way better in the last two seasons even while they're heavily troubled with the problem of injuried players. This season they have a pretty healthy squard but ends up having a very disappointing result thus far. What do you think of the Reds' squard? Is there anything that should be done? I really think that liverpool has a pretty good squard in their league but somehow things just don't work out as expected. What do you think?

I'm not a football lover, but I know Liverpool as well, it used to be a great football team, and well know in my friends. I think the bad time would not last long, just give it some time to get through

With the quality of Liverpools team at the start of the season, and with their achievements last year, I think a lot of people were expecting them to give Chelski and Man U a battle for 1st place.

Unfortunatly they have constantly failed to show that they deserve this reputation, or in fact that they deserve to be considered one of the top teams in European football.

There are a few changes that need to be made to the team, first being that Gerrard needs to start playing a central role again. Sort that out again and he can get back to carrying Liverpool for yet another season.

You said that put Gerrard at the center will give a boost to Liverpool? I don't think so.. Because he looks like more comfortable play at the right and in England he's on his top form since he play at the right side, although I hate to say because I think Beckham should be at that position, but Gerrard plays better at right positions.

Back to Liverpool, I didn't really like Kuyt partner wih Crouch, maybe Crouch need another partner with him..

Liverpools are struggling because of being not able to secure good players in transfer window. I think they will have to try hard to get automatic champion league spot.

I love football. And my favorite teams are Real Madrid, Liverpool, McU etc.

Victory at Anfield would ensure the Reds avoid the other group winners in the next round.

"Getting through to the next stage was our first objective but the aim now is to finish top of the group," said Carra.

"We have a decent defensive record in the Champions League and hopefully we can keep that going.

"It is important to take advantage of playing PSV at home. It will be very difficult as they have great experience in the Champions League and they are doing very well in the Dutch league."

It was a humiliating defeats at the hands of Arsenal, Arsenal was true to their name. Lots of Arsenals at their disposals. And 3 goals to nil was one of the most dominating game Arsenal have played in recent times. Liverpool, how could they fare so bad, everyone is still wondering... 3-2 would have been a good game...

As a lifelong liverpool fan I've been very disappointed with results this season. And it's all down to our away form. Our home form has been as good as ever, but away from home we're absolutely shocking. The constant chopping and changing isn't doing us anygood either. Players are not being given a long run of games to get a rhythm and form going. How any player is expected to perform when they are not playing on a regular basis is beyond me. Rafa says that his rotation policy is there to ensure freshness in the squad. Well there's no point in the squad being fresh come march/april/may if by then we have nothing to play for.

I do think Rafa is a top class manager, he's proved that many times before, but I strongly disagree with his methods this season.

The only new players to have settled in well are

Agger - superb player)

Aurelio - like Ashley Cole a few years back i.e. still learning to defend well)

Kuyt - needs better service, but is a class player

Bellamy, Gonzalez and Pennant haven't done anything yet.
