Black ftw, my friend has one of these new 8GB ones. Quite a decent size memory wise.
It really depends on personal choice. The black one is an 8 GB and the red one is available in either 4 GB or 8 GB. So, yeah, really just personal choice. I, personally, prefer black. (I usually choose either black or silver for almost all of my portables.

Does anyone want a red one? there cool, but black seems much sleeker.
black would definetly look better than red, atleast IMO. However, a mostly black one with a red wheel, like the U2 edition would be the best.

@nilsmo, yes, they donate to Project RED with every red nano
so i would say go for that. black looks good, but the 2nd gen is all about the shine. but u want the 8gb, so u cant the nice shiny blue that i have

i would say its a maater of personal prefrence ..
but as far as i think ...red too striking .. i would go for Black [:d]
