The Host

Kurosaki-Ichigo
I am converting my users to another forum onother server and i need the host for the mysql database. What should i enter ? And should i change the username and db name ?
Vins
Yes you have change all the mySQL server data, and then if that host don't allow to create a mySQL db from import, just open your DB and copy and paste all the content without tha old DB name (are the first line in the text header) in the SQL query window Smile

The server is just
Quote:
localhost

The username is your Frihost account login that came with your acceptance PM.
EDIT: Actually, wait, sorry. The username is what you put in when you clicked create database in your control panel.
The database is whatever you name it.

Ye but im trying to acces this db from another host.
Vins
You seems can't access from another host because frihost use 'localhost' and/orother hosts don't allow anyway remote access for mySQL servers if is localhost or not.
Anyway I suggest you to ask to the site admin for that.

Please don't answer questions if you don't know the answer. Please search as well, I have answered this before.
