Anybody else in band? I play the trombone, first chair. Band has really done a lot for me, gave me a passion. I think that music also helps you academically. Also, just because you're in band, doesn't mean you're a geek.

I don't play in a band and I probably never will - that makes me sad. I wished my parents forced me to learn guitar or drums when I was younger - now it is too late to learn it, I think.

It's never too late really. I don't think it even matters if you're doing it for a reason, just as long as you enjoy it.
I love playing in a band as well. And it is a great way to improve your instrumental skills as well.
i play in 2. one over summer in manchester and one over term time in wales. been playing in bands for years now its wierd i just dunno any different.
