Hi I was just wondering, when phpbb3 is officially released will Bondings be upgrading this forum to it?

More than likely no. This is because Bondings has changed the current forum too much to simpy change it to phpBB3. He will however more than likely keep the forum up to the latest released version in phpBB2.

Maybe 'steal' a few features of phpBB3 and implement them here, though. Wink

Maybe he means incorporate some of the ideas/code that's in the 3 version.

Sometimes the "latest and greatest" version of software isn't as stable as the older ones.

I think this forum is modded enough not to upgrade to phpbb3 at present or in the near future..

It would be difficult to implement a few mods in phpbb3 immediately and it might totally crap up the forum which we certainly dont want
