I am confused on different religions that they can easily follow traditions but hardly follow on what is written on the Bible..What is more pleasing to God, traditions or Bible principles?

RELIGION and tradions cannot be mixed. Because even the apostles in the Bible. dont agree that the human standard or thinking is important when it regards to spiritual thing. So we must not be subjective on those areas. I believe that the Bible is enough even without the tradions of men. That is the soul of the reformation. SOLA SCRIPTURA!..... Very Happy

Who are you to say they aren't following what is written in the Bible? Maybe you interpret it different than they do. Maybe you interpret it wrong. I interpret "rock" in Matt. 16:18 to be referring to Peter. My sister, interprets it as referring to Jesus. Obviously one of us is wrong. We are still trying to believe and follow what is in the Bible, but I think that is where the differences come form.

In my studies, I have found Jesus to be the rock because He is also refered to as the cornerstone. The cornerstone in any architechtural structure is the key stone that holds all the other other stones in place. If the cornerstone is removed, the entire structure will crumble. Jesus is the rock on which everything spritual is built. " The truth, the light and the way."

John:
In my view, I think absolutely "do not agree" is too stark. Jesus did follow some tradition. He followed the Sabbath, celebrated Passover, and said "Do this in rememberance of Me.", pertaining to Communion. However, in my opinion, for the most part, I believe it is more about our relationship with God than any tradition.

The words from the bible are from real life. The bible is the oldest written history book in the known world. Most of the events in the bible are backed up with findings of artifacts, ancient letters, timelines which coincide with all of the empires scientifically documented independently of the bilble, etc.

In my opinion, the principles that Christ taught are far more important than any tradition. Here are some verses from Mark:

Mark, chapter 7 "3": For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

"5": Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

"8": For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

"9": And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Not all religions have the bible as their religious book. My religion is way older than bible-based religions so it has no relevence for me and others of my religion.

I'm a Druid.

Pagan religions are the original religions of societies, dating back thousands of years.
