In the song "Tie Your Mother Down" by Queen, the lyrics talk about how your mother, the one who needs to be tied down, is interfering with the writers love life. Thus, nothing dirty or twisted in the lyrics, just the same thing as the term, Kick her to the curb, as in get them out of your life and leave them behind, "tie your mother down, she ain't no friend of mine!"
