Overwrite/Delete on Import of Table

Hai Everybody,

I have two tables that are just:
UPC_CODE, COST

UPC_CODE is a primary key of the table, i have an older table that i need to import new costs into, the old table has some UPC's that do not exist in the new one, so i just need to impoprt/update what has changed.... i've tried google and no dice, thanks guys!

I'm not sure I entirely understand your question but it sounds as if your trying to do an SQL not in query.

Something like this might work if you are:

insert into oldtable (select * from newtable where upc_code not in (select upc_code from oldtable));
