Believe: if you want learn this is the perfect place, just try to think in spanish.

1.- Try to get a good translator program.
2.- Write us, talk and say anything you want; after that we will try to correct your words.
3.- We try to answer your questions.

Could be fun!!!
guernica
alguien empiece no?
DeathMask
The better way to learn spanish is getting some vocabulary.
And the translator is not a bad idea but i believe with a dictionary is ok, because is better to understand the language the way is it that always been translating in your mind Wink .

che no seria ..

Believe: if you want learn this is the perfect place, just try to think in english?.

no espanish sino english xDDDD y despues traducirlo
sindemencia
we continuo sho =D ...

green = verde
red = rojo
heart = corazon
house = casa

its. seria
english: my house is green and my heart is red
spanish: mi casa es verde y mi corazon es rojo

la silla --> the chair
la mesa --> the table

porque no puede ser el sillo ni el mesa
tampoco me voy a sentar silla
es me voy a sentar a la silla...

el --> he
but the word " el " is for the objects too

other ejample

la pared ---> the wall

la --> pronombre personal

but the word " la " is for the objects too

el problema es que en español tomamos las cosas con pronombres personales. (esto no se traducirlo al ingles, frihosters ayudenme xD)
DeathMask
OK i will write it in a better way easier to read:

We continue:
green = verde
red = rojo
heart = corazon
house = casa

It Would be:
english: my house is green and my heart is red
spanish: mi casa es verde y mi corazon es rojo

la silla = the chair
la mesa = the table
el = he

but the word " el " also can be used as the "the" word.

another example

la pared = the wall

la = personal pronoun

but the word " la ", as the word "el", can be used like the word "the", the only change is that "la" is a female pronoun.

The main problem is that in the spanish leanguage we use the pronouns for almost everything.

Here is a list of the pronouns:

1º Person:

I = Yo

2º Person:

You(singular) = Tú
We = Nosotros
They = Ellos
You(plural)= Ustedes

3º Person:

He = El
She = Ella
It = Eso

Note: Remember that the word "el" can be used as a pronoun or as the word "the".
dreamshunter
and the meaning of "it", in spanish not only is "eso", too is "esto" and "aquello".

IT = esto, eso and aquello

GOOD LUCK!!!

What is the difference between saber and conocer?

For example i wanted to say "do you know 007 films?", and i used "saber". But my friend from Chile said that i should use "conocer".

How can i use it? And could you give me some easy examples?

It's basically the difference between knowledge (saber) and familiarity, awareness, or recognition (conocer). In English, think of "cognizance," which comes from the same root as "conocer."

There is a good, detailed explanation of that at http://www.studyspanish.com/lessons/sabcon.htm

I have a question. I can't find the meaning of "snowdrop" in dictionaries. Do you know this flower? I need the Spanish name of it.

Gracias!

según el diccionario http://www.wordreference.com "snowdrop" significa "campanilla de invierno".

Hello Whong
[hola Whong]
I' ll try to use this post to practice my poor English
[Trataré de usar este post para preacticar mi ingles pobre=limitado]

First of all I'll try to write in a good way the sentences you wrote, 'cause you translated those in a literally way, and those are not well.
[primero trataré de escribir de una forma "adecuada"="buena"="bien hecha" las oraciones "que escribiste"="que tu escribiste", por que "las traduciste"="tu las traduciste" de una forma literal, y "no estan"="esas no estan" bien]

In a good way:
A mi me encanta=gusta la lengua española, lo siento, no puedo hablar "español"="el español" mucho por que no aprendí mucho!.

Poco a poco aprendo [Or "Poco a poco estoy aprendiendo"]

But there is one thing, in the first sentence "A mi me encanta...porque no aprendo mucho!" you are using the word "mucho" too many times, so you are doing a redundancy mistake, so it is better to use a sinonym for one of those like "bastante" o any other.

Hola, y muchos gracias neonard0!

I've studied Spanish for about 3 - 4 months, so I'm really new to this language, but I'm trying hard to learn it. Wink

En español: Soy el estudiante en Finlandia. En el invierno es bastante frío, pero en el verano es calor. Rolling Eyes

In English: I'm a student in Finland. In the winter it's quite cold, but in the summer it's warm.

Gracias!

LA FORMA CORRECTA DE ESCRIBIR:
Quote:
"I'm a student in Finland. In the winter it's quite cold, but in the summer it's warm."
EN ESPAÑOL ES DE LA SIGUIENTE MANERA:

Soy un estudiante en Finlandia, en invierno es bastante frío pero en verano hace calor.

otra forma sería:

Soy estudiante en Finlandia, cuando es invierno hace bastante frío, pero en verano es cálido.
