Interesting Splash page - but do you really want it to be a 610k image ? For Dial-up users that is more than a 2 min wait. Most of them will leave after 30 secs.

Those are nice but I never liked splash pages period. When I go to a website I want to go to the website not some stupid page with a name, enter button and stuff. Its seems a waste of time, bandwidth, and probably turns away more people then it attracts. Can anyone give me a purpose they serve. The only thing I could think of is to describe the website but isn't that one a home page is for?

Dude splash pages are awsome they show whether you are getting into a professional designers site or some gay newbies.If I could find out how to make or have someone make me one I wouldnt even hesitate.
