3D Modeling: using DAZ and Bryce

I'm looking for some real basic big picture help with DAZ and Bryce.
DAZ Studio http://www.daz3d.com/
Bryce http://www.daz3d.com/program/bryce/

I would like to create backgrounds in Bryce,
then use them in DAZ Studio.

I have tried the tutorials there but haven't found some very basic answers.
So I'll try here.

In Bryce 5.0 how do you minimize/maximize the work area?
I've clicked on all the obvious possibilities and haven't found it.

In DAZ Studio what kind of file format do backgrounds and objects need to be in?
And is there a way to directly import them into the studio library without doing a full hard drive system search?

I don't know if you can do this with Bryce 5. I know Bryce 6 can import figures from DAZ Studio quite easily, though. Maybe you can try saving from DAZ Studio as a Poser file...

well if you just tried their tutorial sections and not their forums then go there cuz even though there are many people on frih there are more specialists on the specialized forums...if yes (you tried their forums too) then disregard this post lol

I don't know that you can actually export a 'background' with Bryce. You can certainly save an image with nothing but the background in it, but that's the closest you can get.
That's 'cause Bryce doesn't have a background per say, it generates the sky (and ground if you have one) separately.
