Layout help

I have made a website with a tiling background that has 330px of black on the left and the right with a dark red.
For the title, I want to have a word on the left and a word on the right (a word on the black, and the other word on the red). I don't want to put it as part of the body background but I can put it as a header background or something, what is the best way to do this?

Note:They must be aligned correctly under all circumstances, unless the browser cannot read CSS.

Thanks for all help Smile

here are 2 easy ways

1. Make a image of it with Photoshop/GIMP or something similar, and just insert the image where you wanted in the title.

2. insert what you wanted into a table, you could set the tile background in the cells, and align it however you wanted to the page.

both ways would not interfere with the main body background

Correct me if I misunderstand you, but here my answer using CSS

---- CSS Section -----

/*For eliminating any default margin and padding space*/

*{
margin:0px;
padding:0px;
}

/*Setting left title*/

. left Title{
position:absolute;
top:0px;
left:0px;
text-align:left;
}

/*Setting right title*/

.rightTitle{
position:absolute;
top:0px;
right:0px;
text-align:right;
}

----- BODY Section ----

<body>
<h1 class="leftTitle">This is my left title</h1>
<h1 class="rightTitle">This is my right title</h1>
</body>

And of course you can set the font-size, etc to control your title presentation

Hopefully it will help a little Smile
