What PCI express card do you like?

I am looking into getting a new PCI express graphics card. I was hopping to spend under $300 for a new card. I have always been an ATI fan but there is a lot of hype about the NVidia cards.

I do 3d modeling and some game programming. Years ago the Nvidia were just not as good as the ATI, so I am hard pressed to change, but open to change.

Any suggestions? please give reasons why you like what you suggest.

I am hearing a lot of chatter about the new ATI X1650 XT, it is supposed to have very impressive specs though I am not sure if it actually shipped yet.

If that is 300 US money, id go with a 7900GT/GTO.
They are very good price/performance.
The X1650 doesnt have anything on 7900 series Wink
