As of November 1st, the National Novel Writers Month is in full bloom.

You can visit there web site at http://nanowrimo.org.

The point is for every participant to write 50,000 words in 30 days. it is the 3rd of November now and I am already at 10,000 plus, doing a rewrite fo The Divine Comedy.

Check it out, it is defiantly worth the effort.

I'd love to read some of your re-write when it's finished. I think that should be pretty interesting. I've been familiar with Nanowrimo for about three years now but I've never tried it; I don't think I'm of that caliber yet. Stamina-wise, that'd kill me Smile

Good luck!

I signed up for it, but didn't have the time.

I think it's a pretty difficult task to complete. Not only do you have to find the time to write, I'm willing to best most of your free time would end up going to completing the novel. 50,000 words can be hard to write, especially if you're trying to honestly write a literary novel versus a commercial one. Despite most of the novels on nanowrimo being commercial, I'm sure there are some loaded with symbolism and talented writing (not that commercial literature isn't talented).
