Yes. If you can write and make your own forum system you would be capable but considering most people have trouble just installing a premade forum, making a site like myspace would be very, very difficult.

YES VERY VERY VERY COMPLEX
I'm just running phpbb and supposed to be simpler than some & it's very complex just look at the code! also look at Gallery2 code and oh yea that's 20 megs of code = complex
it's not super hard or impossible it's just alot of work!
or may be if u are rich enough, buy the egold myspace code which is available for some few hundred dollars!!
Anything is possible! But its probably a VERY boring job.
You would need alot of PHP knowledge, as well as a nice chunk of change to afford the bandwidth needed to host a site like that :S

well they are complex bro if they were not you would have seen millions of them .
if you want to create your own facebook and myspace clone then you should know atleast Asp.Net or Php by heart along with database integration
