Trying to get yum to work on Fedora Core 6

I get the returned message: "Yum failed to start" when typing "yum update". Maybe because this is a test version? I dont know..

Help would be nice! Thanks Very Happy

Fedora? This is the first time I saw someone type what it is/help. I've looked at my website's log file and for some reason I saw Fedora, too. I was wondering what the heck this was. I thought it was some sort of Internet Browser, but it was in the Operating System's slot. :/ Weird.

@SF: Fedora is a distribution of Linux, an open-source operating system.

@nincb: Is it the stable release? Did you configure all repositories while installing? I hear you can add custom repositories during the install stage itself.

Maybe the repositories were down Rolling Eyes

How's FC6? Cool

I'm running FC6 in a VM and the repositories are up for me.
