co.nr is free good one... there are tons of no cc referral programs for domains etc. namecheap.com is a good one.

I buy my domains at godaddy they cost $8.99. I have tried other resellers but they had sub par check out systems and support. Just look for the Ican registration and a price that you can live with.
Go Daddy does try to up-sell you but you can decline the extra services......
