Devil May Cry 3

So, I'm really thinking about buying this game, but I need some experience from players.

Is it a good game? And do I have to play the first two games in order to understand the series, or can I just start with #3?

You can just jump straight into DMC3.

My advice to you is to get the Special Edition of DMC3 that was just released, the extras make it more than worth it. It includes the first game, a few extras and an extra playable charatcer from the start.

Warning though, this game is damn hard even on normal mode, it's the first game that I've honestly had difficulties with in a long long time.

It's worth picking up if you're a fan of fast paced action games, with lovely graphics and slightly OTT cutscenes Smile

Devil May Cry 3 is one of the best action games on ps2, in my opinion. Very fun combat system and an entertaining plot. Cool characters as well. Buy it, it's cheap now!
