Improving Space on Windows after Restoring?

whoamifooling
Hi, I download a bad virus (on accident)... So I restored My Laptop to an earlier time... Turns out I went from 70% Memory left to 62% Memory left. And to me this is a big deal. I have only about 37 GBs total and Used about 15Gbs?

How can I get my improve my Memory Usage?

Please and Thank You's!

It looks like you are speaking about hard drive space, not memory. Storage and memory are two different entities. Memory is just used to execute a program or file. When you shut down memory is wipped clean.

If you want to improve hard drive space you can:
Compress old files
Remove unwanted programs or windows components
Burn backups to CDs or DVDs
Burn seldom used files to CD or DVD
clean up temp files
Purchase a larger hard drive

How do I clean up Temp Files??

Go to Google and search for Cleanup! It will most likely be the first result. Download the program (it's free) and install it. After install run the program, you will be prompted if you want to run it in safe mode. Safe mode does not delete the files so answer no to this. cleanup will delete all temp files. It may require you to log out to finish.
Hope this helps!
