I've read Harry Potter twice. I was enthralled not by the story but the way the author describes every action. I could visulaise every movement that each character did

She is a descriptive writer but far from the best and far from the most descriptive. For a children's writer she is good but I have seen a lot mroe descriptive writing than hers. I am in no way putting her down because the way she writes is perfect for her primary audience and I also enjoy her books but I just have to say I don't agree with you.
