NEW forum HELP
on your computer or on frihost's server?
If its on your own computer, you'll need to install a http server (like apache) and php and mysql. (Not an easy thing for a newbie)
If its on frihost's server, you'll have to ask special permission to use a vbulletin forum and prove you have a license for it. (vbulletin is non-free, right?)

- Buy vBulletin (http://www.vbulletin.com/order/), and download it
- Download and install appache on your machine (search google for help)
- Download and install php5 on your machine (search google for help)
- Download and install mySQL on your machine (search google for help)
- Set up ports and stuff to make your computer work as server (search google for help)
- Drop Vb in the right folder and install it (search google for help)
Thats that - its probably very difficult, and you'll have to have you computer turned on for the forum to be accessible.
What i suggest you do:
- Wait till you have a frihost account
- Read (and follow) the "installing phpbb" topic in the tutorials forum
Yea...that is definitely a lot easier.
Installing Apache, mysql, php can be done in one shot. Refer to url http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html. XAMPP is a apache-mysql-php-perl package installer. One installer for all!
