Maybe orkut is open for public in certain countries.

No sense leaving two active topics about this out there, so they have been merged together. This may make it look as though some people have double posted, since they may have responded in each thread. Of course, that would only be for posts that appear before this one.

It is open to the public now, just go to https://www.orkut.com/JoinCreate.aspx and click on the Create a Google Account to access orkut, if you don't already have one, if you do, just sign in on the right, accept the terms, and there ya go.
