i joined because i wanted to use the free web hosting service. being a regular on the message boards doesn't sound bad to me as long as the service isn't bad. how is it treating all of you guys?

It's pretty great tonerj. Need help with anything regarding your website or anything else under the sun and you have a multitude of very educated individuals totally happy to assist here!
Very well, Frihost is great for hosting and the message board regular posting is surprisingly not too much hard work. If you rack up the points (without spamming of course) it becomes a lot easier and you can prepare yourself point-wise for holidays or whatever 
Yes if you can devote a few minutes a day, or a lot of minutes every couple days it is extremely easy. Its not even hard to keep your post counts up. Its just like chatting on a regular forum that someone would do for fun, except you get something out of it. Its a win win situation.

The service here is excellent... I've been here since July 2005, and I've never once thought of leaving 
Admittedly, I don't post as much as I used to when I first joined (I used to post a lot more, when the forum had a lot less members, mainly because I like small forums better than larger ones:)). However, a larger forum means that there's a greater variety of topics, and you'll definately find something to interest you

I did have free hosting on another site (I had five accounts) and they just shut down one day and said, sorry, we hope you can find some free hosting and that was that, whereas previously they had been good people.
I wonder what the spilt of opinion is between posting for hosting and text/banner ads on every page? I am not sure it is worth breaking out as a separate topic however, unless anybody else thinks it is.

I'm new too, and when I looked at the forums, first I thought "This really sounds boring", but now, when I've explored it a bit it seems really nice.

And, you don't even need to be ultra active. You only need to post so that you don't get under -10.00 points, which is the good side of Frihost because you would just need to repay them back with some activity. But being a reg here would also be great, as these are great forums.

to me, being wandering around on the net and forums is okay. But sometimes, i just feel nothing to write, like these weeks. However, i really need free host service... so i return today to see how many marks i still have.... sometimes it's quite trouble..
Well, seeing how it requires some posts in the forums, it must be good, I currently don't have enough posts, but I will soon.
