Program-Blocker (like Firewall)

Hi there.

My network is behind a DSL-Router, I am using ZoneAlarm as a Desktopfirewall on my Laptop to gain control over program-access to the internet. Actually I don't need a "real" firewall as I am behind a DSL-Router. So I am looking for a software that just gives me control over outgoing internet-connections. Optimal would be the possibility of accept/deny by program like ZoneAlarm does.

Any ideas?

Why should I spend ressources on a program that is just to "big" for my requirements? I don't need no full desktopfirewall as there won't be any threats from my router. I just wat to control which programs are connecting to the internet and which must not. Thats it.

You can turn of inbound control @ Zonealarm so it only controls outbound connections! Cool

why not use Zonealarm? its a great program!

Or I think windows xp already has a built-in firewall, although it is not that good.
