The title character is really something. YOU DON'T NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE GAME AT ALL TO ENJOY THE ANIME. Hell, I treat majhong as if it were some sort of magic within the anime. Although it may be a central focus, the anime is all about character; and it has alot of it.
