Which would you say is the more realistic supernatural phenomenon?
I would personally say Aliens (from another planet mind you). I think that the concept of Ghost or spirits is a little hard to swallow realistically. Don't get me wrong though, it makes for excellent fiction. I just think that the existence of Aliens is much more feasible considering the vastness of the universe. The real question on this matter is the existence of intelligent life capable of traveling through the universe to visit earth. As difficult as that would be I still find the idea of that happening much more realistic then the existence of spiritual beings.
Aliens are much more applicable to theories and much easier to believe than ghosts.
Ghosts seem way too un-realistic, and when you think about it religion is the same thing.
Both sound plausible. There are a lot of books and stories on both aliens and the paranormal. But yet nobody has proved the existence of life from outer space or ghosts...
Personally I think that at least aliens exist. It's just impossible for planet Earth to be the only planet with life amongst billions of stars and planets.

as much as i would like to believe gosts exist i just cant. Aliens or different beings i can believe exist but we will probably never know because the technology required for transport that far i just couldnt get a grip on,

Its a technology that might be plausible in the near future, but not on a small enough scale to be used by an individual. Probably more for vehicles and building etc etc...

creating the illusion of a paranormal event could explain allot of the evidence supporting the theory of the existence of ghost. ? the same could be said about sightings of extra terrestrial visits as well?Probably aliens. (Also, it depends on if you mean "intelligent" aliens.) If not intelligent, then definitely aliens. Nobody has ever proved the existence of either ghosts or aliens. Ghosts just seem hard to believe. I'm almost completely sure they don't exist. (That's just what I think, though I can't prove it). Aliens, well, are actually pretty easy to believe. Reason? The universe is so expansive, it's nearly impossible for earth to be the only location of life.
I believe both existed, but what we define "ghost" might not be the exact "ghost"..
if you want me to compare between two, i will say alien are more realistic...

Ghost and the like are based on concepts that are vague. Like they affect surroundings electromagnetically. And that they hover and pass through things.
Aliens on the other hand are based on concepts quite acceptable to us. Like the famous equation of getting the probability of intelligent life. Non-intelligent lifeforms would be easier to swallow though.
So there it is. We are biased towards aliens because we could comprehend it better. Alien ghosts, however...
Reminds me of FF: Spirits Within, where there were lifeforms which had their planet destroyed so they became ghosts. So in essence the movie had alien ghosts.
Well, quite frankly i cannot take side in this one.. i believe equally in both ghosts and aliens. Unless something happens to prove otherwise, i think both are pretty realistic phenomenon
After watching some discovery crap about ghosts, i think that spiritual world seems more realistic then lil green dudes. Well maybe more possible to actually exist.
I believe that both aliens and ghosts do not exist. However, I do believe in the spiritual world. I believe that angels and demons (fallen angels) exist and that demons can and do impersonate a ghost or even an alien.
Before you dismiss me as irrational, I have don't quite a bit of study into truth, knowledge, and rationality. It's a fun and complex topic.
I think it is too arrogant to think that we are the only being in the whole galaxy, and also that we are the only intelligent being.
In 10.000 years they will make fun of us, as we do now, when we think, that the human race used to think that the earth was flat or that the earth was the center of the universe. Even more if we think that the church only some few years ago recognize that Galileo was right.
Aliens.
The chance that there is something else out there in the unimaginable vast scale of the universe is very high, you just need the right conditions for life/intelligent life to appear.
Now, look at the reverse argument about ghosts. Some form of conciousness stored in... places or items after the initial sentience is destroyed? Far less likely. Possible - especially if you have an open mind - but less likely don't you think?
Both sound like they could exist. For aliens I would think that its easier to see that saying we are the only intelligent ( or maybe were not intelligent who knows) beings in the whole universe. For ghosts I think it would be harder to explain but my big question how would they be able to be when they are nothing.
I did think that like things like gravity are unseen but still have an actual effect so why couldnt a ghost be field force of some kind made of several forces and gases to form a semi intelligent being.
Just as kind of a kicker, remember how Yoda told Luke that the force surrounds us. Even though its kinda of obvious that he doesnt actually exist but think that forces surrond us everyday some that are explained like gravity and light, and ones that are unknown to us. Is it possible that we all came from a sort of gaia or special force in the universe?

That's a good question. At first I thought Aliens were more plausible for sure, but the odds are so astronomical that it might be more likely that ghosts somehow exist. If I had to choose I'd still pick Aliens.

Aliens visiting earth however, is a different story. That's almost as implausible as ghosts. But not quite 
I think there are beings different from humans, that either can make themselves appear whatever form they think suitable to the viewers according to their background and personality. In the middle ages, there were thousands of apparitions of demons, succubbus, and angels - minds in those times were impressed by those images, and would not understand an "ovni". Today, technology is widespread, and to believe in a flying machine with lights and sounds from another planet- also that we are aware there are other planets- is more "logical" than a demon or a witch.
In my opinion, i believe that these two exists. Aliens are far different from ghost. Aliens came from different region in the space while ghost for what we believe are the spirits from the dead. I can believe in aliens, but ghost were just created by our fears. Ghosts in my opinion are Satan's instruments. Remember the 1/3 of fallen angels thrown on this earth in the beginning of human existence. Ghosts are used by Satan, to divert peoples attention that they are real and the truth about God and the state of dead is not.
But I still believe that alien-ghosts are possible. Like ghosts from another planet, yet we cannot discern their true form. So ghosts would survive more in space travel. Right?
Probably aliens sounds more realistic. We cannot be alone in this Galaxy. Or in this world.
I'd go with aleins too because the universe is so big that there is bound to be some other living creature out there.
Aliens are more believable due to the fact I believe they should exist out there in the endless(?) realms of space whereas ghosts would have to come from somewhere else entirely.
I am struggling to put it into words but I am pretty sure space and the universe exists but the ability to return from an afterlife is yet to be proven to me.
I do believe in God and heaven so an afterlife is a possibility to me but too many charlatans have been uncovered.
Hmmm, this will require some more thinking, if there was an option I would go for a resounding – Don’t Know!

How is a ghost defined?!? Well I think there are definatly Aliens.. which shape. I don't know...
Infact it could be something in between. Some scientists belive that ghosts are people living in another "dimension". Thet are just on another "frequency". Sometimes these "frequencies" change for a second or two, this causes "ghost sights".
PS: The above text is not my personal belief.... I really don't belive in either of them...
Considering we don't even know where the universe ends, or how many galaxies, stars, and planets there are in it, who's to say among there arn't other intelligent beings out there? Who can even say there arn't atleast microorganisms on mars? As for ghosts, who knows? Our knowledge, though it seems vast, is really quite limited in the scope of things. There will always be unknowns, you can always ask why one more time, and the only answer anyone can give you is "because".
I think both are possible. If I have to pick one, I will have to choose Alien. because when people said there are millions, millions and millions of stars and planets. It's very difficult to denied that there is other planet like Earth out there.
I would have to say aliens, by far. Life outside the Earth seems almost certain to me. Ghosts? They don't seem logical to me.

coz i have seen none of them...
but if i am to believe i thing aliens may exist but not ghost...
ghost are simply creation of human mind...
but aliens may exist if they dont then also they are better if created imaginary..
coz we humans may not think we are the superiror in the universe...
we have some one to compete with and we are stlll very very far from competeing them.....
I´m 99% sure there are Aliens... Them actually visiting earth does however seem less likely to me. (if they did I´m quite sure we would have noticed it)
Ghosts on the other hand (does for me) seem like just fictional "life forms" made up by the human (twisted) mind. So no, I dont think there are any of those.
