I am trying to understand why FriHost requires the posting to activate your account.

So far, it seems that they offer excellent service from the postings I have read but cannot tell for sure.

Does anyone know of the reasoning behind the requirements?

I supose they have to see if you or anyone else is capable of creating things that are good and not just anything Rolling Eyes

I also belive that every post has somehow influence on their sponzors/banners. Maybe I'm wrong!! That is jut my belief and I'm verry plesed with that Wink

frihost requires posting to try and cover the cost of the hosting as there are ads on the forum which genarate income, this saves you having ads on your site when you do get your account unlike other "free" hosting sites.

Also yes the service is great its lives up to the spec on the home page.
