Verizon wireless

funstuff1501
I have been trying to find a way to force a wireless network on my verizon phone. The problem I have is that when I am on the border of a Verizon area but in a stronger area serviced by another carrier, my verizon phone always tries to use the verizon network. Has anyone found a way to stop the phone from going to the weaker signal which in turn causes you to drop calls instead of connecting to the stronger signal? I have heard of people who remove their antennas if it is possible, so that the weak verizon signal cant get through, thus forcing you onto extended network.
