Hey I got a noob question, I know how to download both of these items but I have absolutely no clue how to upload them to my site and then use them to fix up my site. Any help will be nice.
Thanx
Nuke is easyer to use, but it is harder to install.
You need a ftp manager to upload (see all informations on the aproval message).
With nuke you have to create the teables. After that is easy.
I reccommend you to fix up a site on a pnpnuke free host and/or a joomla free host with them already installed so you can make the difference.
i find joomla easy to use and install and right now im enjoying using it in three of my sites. Right now JOomla is booming and getting known more than php nuke.
PHP-Nuke if you can install it, it has way better themes and other stuff http://www.nukemods.com Or if you want to install it yourself use joomla because it's alot easier to install. But there arent as many good themes for free that are for joomla.
I am a mambo or joomla lover... but I have not install php nuke...it doesn't matter...All you have to do is to choose what is best for you and stick with it...For me ...joomla is the best and it is easy to use....
Personnally I am a Joomla addict.
I have already a web site running it (see my signature) and what I appreciate the most is the ease of install and the huge number of add ons available. You can easily transform your site in a picture gallery, a company directory or whatever.
with Community builder you can easily manage a comunity. I have also installed it on the intranet of my company and it has been liked to the general LDAP. I have installed DokuWiki for my colleagues and it has been in use since then as well as the news and the forums.
you can also see nice exemples of simple joomla websites here :

Any idiot and their grandma can install and use a CMS, and mods for both are plentiful. I am assuming that you will insert a cookie cutter template, and so choose based on the template you want because I don't think you'd ever go into choosing a CMS through a technical perspective.
with user friendly environment and load and loads of freeware extensions of module and component and templates, i would go no further than stick to joomla only, nuke- i find it difficult and i don;t like the template either. a perfect balanced cms is joomla and of course mambo too..
I think in the tutorials section there is a tutorial on Joomla and PHP-Nuke Both, if not try to search it on Google.
Joomal is very easy for installation and for maintaince also. when compare to nuke Joomla is very good and it is having many template and module for supports. In my view Joomla is good

I also use Joom;a for my websites :

I particularly appreciate the vaste variety of modules
Also, if you look at Joomla you can see it's just a bloated, fancy system that could might as well just function as a blog. Siteframe 3 and a FlatForum 1.4 forum system is just about as good as Joomla with half or even more of its bloat stripped. PHP-Nuke goes the whole nine yards and has absolutely every facility that you'd ever need built right in except for the forum extension, and there are two decent forum systems for PHP-Nuke - pnForum and a special version of phpBB that integrates right in. All this is provided in just about the same amount of space it takes to run a Joomla system. Of course php-Nuke could be trimmed around the edges quite a bit, and DragonFly CMS does that IIRC and makes it able to beat Joomla completely out of the park.
So,most of u say yes to Joomla,Well....I do,so
I loved its instalation and management ease.
The only thing we should do know for him is to suggest some plugins, addons to use on Joomla.
What 'd u recommend?
Joomla is easy to use , rather than PHP-Nuke .
And it is attractively easy to use , compared to php nuke .
So , first unzip and upload to host , then run install.php .
You may also need to create a database .
Gracias por los comentarios me quedo con Joomla.
Joomla..mature development..easy installation..great support team..lots of themes and extensions..all the things you need are already there. basically, someone has already thought about what you need.
Can some one tell me how am i suppose to install either of these becuase i am very confused about this
