I’m interested to find out what the God of your particular faith has actually done for you. I have a good idea what the God of the Jews did for them and subsequently for the sect popularly known as Christians. But for example how does Hinduism work or Buddhism. Even the Islamic faith, what’s the technical breakdown? Is it just following a set of regulations or what?
Please tell me what your religion does for you.
My religion allows me to think whatever I want, whenever I want, and doens't censor me or tell me that I'm a bad person. I get my morals from life, my religion does not pretend to know all.
My religion advocates the beauty of the ballet of life, and it evokes the amazing human nature that has arisen on this planet. It listens to people who try to understand our place in this cosmos, and doesn't shut them out.
My religion does not tell me to write others off, simply because they are of a different faith, and it certainly doesn't tell me that I can kill others for my god. My religion is a religion of science and human ability called Atheism.
My religion allows me to think whatever I want, whenever I want, but it warns me not to hate people, including myself, because hatred causes pain to the world. It only tells me I'm a bad person when I deliberately harm other people or myself or want to harm other people or myself. I get my morals wich fit to my life, because I got them from the Person who lovingly made me. My religion doesn't pretend to know all, but it does pretend there is someone who knows all.
My religion advocates the beauty of the ballet of life, and it evokes the amazing human nature that has arisen on this planet. It listens to people who try to understand our place in this cosmos, and doesn't shut them out. My religion advocates this world will even become a much better one, without pain, dead or poverty.
My religion does not tell me to write others off, simply because they are of a different faith, and it certainly doesn't tell me that I can kill others for my God. My religion teaches me humans are all original creations, loved by their loving Father and meant to be loved by each other and by themselves. My religion is a religion of science and also a religion of trust. It's a religion in wich humans don't need to be able to do everything on their own, because in the end they are not alone. My God loves every person and His heart is hurt by people who hate Him and want to do it all by themselves, because He created them also and wants them to accept He is their Father! My religion is called Christianity

My religion teaches us to love one another as Christ loved us. As God loved us. God loved the world so much, that He sent His only Son to die for us and heal our wounds. What an amazing God, willing to sacrifice His Son for the earth - and what an honor it is to live under such a wise, powerful, and loving God.
My religion teaches me strong morals and ethics. It brings peace of mind, and elatedness. Nothing makes me happy quite in the way that knowing God and knowing God loves us all.
My religion teaches that everything glorifies God - down to the simplest blade of grass, everything has a purpose, everything has been put where it is for a reason, and everything has happened, is happening, or will happen for a reason. Although it may not be clear to us, it is like crystal to God.
It also teaches prayer and meditation - two things which can make your body feel so amazing.
Finally, He taught us to have a relationship with Him. He created us, He loves us, and He wants us to return that love to Him.

Thank you for the aliquant synopsis, but please, if you want to have a debate about theism vs. atheism start a topic about it. Also I want to hear about what “OTHER” faith’s gods are doing for them. Thank you kindly.

I hear you man, and it’s beautiful. It seems like you’re really connected, but I want to find out if the deity’s that receive worship “of other faiths” actually does something for people that do the worshipping.
peace be upon you.
my religion is Islam. for me it's a discipline, a structure. I am always eager to connect with God during my worship and prayers, and afterwards i feel so peaceful and more calm. During recitation of the Quran, i feel like weeping due to the beauty and moving verses.
My religion teaches me to seek peace and submit to God. I must always try hard not to go to war, but there are some battles that must be fought (e.g. hitler).
Islam says that anyone who is a monotheist unitarian can go to Heaven on the conditions that they believe in God, and they believe in Judgement Day
and they are righteous.
Glorious Qur'an [2:62]: Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians (unitarians only), and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their reward from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
My religion tells me how to be pious:
Glorious Qur'an [2:177]: ...piety is one who believes in God and the last day, and the Angels, and the scripture, and the prophets, and he gives money out of love to the near relatives, and the orphans, and the needy and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves, and he holds the assembly, and he contributes towards betterment; and those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of good and bad and when in despair. These are the ones who have been truthful, and they are the righteous.
may God bless you.
