Its a rule on Frihost that you need to do a search before creating a new topic. The search engine in PHP in not good enough for this sort of site.
For instance, I wanted to talk about the Nintendo Wii. So as I would, I do a search for it. Heres how the results show:
Now while one would understand to post the topic in the 4th result, it Should come up in first place. I also think that it needs to have a short description on what the topic is about such along the same design as google. Hey, if Frihost nearly comes up in every search result, why not place the google search thingy (the one with adsense) on the search page as well?
I also think you need to include the search engine on every page in the new Frihost, as it would quite possibly create more topics and posts, resulting in more revenue. Why? I know sometimes, I would go to post in a topic, but the top search results wouldn't have the topic i'm after and I wont scroll through multiple pages just to post a comment.
