clean up the Announcements and Rules forum

What i mean is that you should take down some of the announcements and make them regular topics.

I 2nd that, its getting quite messy and a lot of the news doesnt even make sence if you read it now. IE: "Server 2 Is Down"

I agree, everything in the forum is an announcement, there is no point in classing everything as an anouncement! Normal, well labelled posts would do.

Well, all those were one-time announcements, so what's the harm in just letting them be?

Besides, you normally don't have to go to that forum unless you see a new post there, so, what's the big deal anyway?

Its messy. It makes it a lot easier on new members. The announcements make it seem like it is very important. If it where like something like Server 6 down due to a viruse that should be up untill everything is worked out.

Well, whether we change the topic status from Announcement to Normal, they'd still be in the Announcements forum, wouldn't they? Wink

I suppose it's an OK idea, though I think it'd be fine if we just kept them there. Like Hogwarts said, an [Old] tag would be nice, though it really looks fine as is. I suppose it would look slightly better if those were removed, however it wouldn't make too much of a difference.
