I don't know about anyone else, but I like movies with some form of discovery in them. I usually don't like the sequels because the discovery was in the first movie. A couple of examples are The Matrix and Spider-Man. Right off the top of my head, I can't think of anymore although I have well over 200 DVD's of movies made in the last few years. Maybe I'll have to open my binders and take a good look.
