It is possible to make a decent living with freelancing. I am doing it. But you need to be watchful and cautious about what kind of work you take up. It is not easy to differentiate them. But there are some fundamental rules.
1. When some body says you will have to pay him to get you a job, know that he is a fraud.
2. There is a reasonable money one can make. Everyone knows that. When some one says that you can make twice or thrice that reasonable amount, open your eyes and shut your pockets. Careful!
3. If some body is throwing away money at you for 'nothing', be weary of that too! There is nothing called free lunch.
