MLB Post Season...

Sifor
I am a baseball fanatic, so when the post season comes, I eat, sleep, and breathe baseball. If it does not have anything to do with baseball, I don't care. I am a San Fransisco Giants fan, because it's my local team. I don't care who is in the playofffs, because I know they will be good games. Does anyone here follow baseball? Whats your guys favroite teams? Whats your guys opinions on the steroid scandal. I think it's pathetic. I mean, your in the major leagues, you can't get any higher up on the baseball ladder. Why do you need steroids to get even stronger and risk you career and future in the major leagues.

Hey, just wanted to say i am probally just as much as a fanatic as you are and I absolutely adore the New York Yankees. Also I never pick the Yankees to win it all I just root for them but I like to pick an underdog at the beginning of the year and this year I picked the A's so tomorrow vs. Detroit im hoping we can pull out a win. Also I feel terrible about what happened to cory lidle, he was such a great guy. And no I am not a frontrunner but like the you the Yankees are my hometown team.

I really can't stand baseball. I'd rather watch womens beach volley ball. That being said, I don't think the Yankees are going to be flying very high this post season, if you catch my drift (or windsheer as the case may be)

Did I put a smiley face in there somewhere?

'Cuz if I did, let me know and I'll take it out because it wasn't meant to be funny.

I too like to root for the underdog. The A's are my other local team, so naturally I am gunning for them to win. I wouldn't mind the Detroit Tigers to win, since they have such an awesome team. The teams skill level is surprising because almost everybody on their team is really young. In the world series I tend to to root for my local team, but if they are not there, it's the national leauge I cheer for. The only exception for the national league is if it's the LA Dodgers. Since my favorite team is the SF Giants and the Dodges are there long time rival.

Let me first just start off by saying, Go Braves!

Now that the Cardinals won the 1st game of the World Series, do you think they will be able to win the whole series?

I think the Tigers will win even though the Cardinals still have Suppan and Carpenter to use at home. In my opinion, the Tigers have better pitching almost all the way around.

What do you think now?

The tigers pitching has not been bad but the Cardinals have just been able to take advantage of key situations and big mistakes (especially last night). I expect the tigers to win one more game but Cardinals in six.

Detroit has their best two starters going the next two games. I think Verlander's got it tonight. We'll see about Kenny Rogers later. If those two are able to force a game 7, it'd be interesting to see who gets the call. I'm just glad the World Series went longer than 4 games this year...

Oh yeah... GO MARINERS!
canadol
If there is a game six Kenny will be beaten. His magic has been found out and he will have a lot of attention on him and he will fold. He can't go forver plus he is 41.

Cardinals in six
